Terms & Conditions

LB CLASSIC CLOSETS agrees to furnish designs, materials, and installation according to the attached or linked drawings, specification on the drawings and pricing. This contract is final and a 50% nonrefundable is due at the time of design approval.

Designs & Illustrations

I understand my installation will be done according to the technical drawing details. I have reviewed the designs and agree to all designs, colors, and accessories shown. All products are prefinished melamine unless otherwise noted. Slight changes in measurements of unit might be needed and fillers may be used in wall corners but are not required. We do our best to hide all cracks and gaps and wall imperfections to “industry standards” but it is not possible to have perfect seams at all joints. There will be some gaps at wall corners due to walls being out of plumb. IF YOU WOULD LIKE A SCRIBE TRIM PACKAGE TO FILL ALL GAPS AT WALL JOINTS, PLEASE EMAIL YOUR DESIGNER FOR ADDITIONAL PRICING. We reserve the right to make modifications to the design at installation if we find hidden obstacles that were not obvious or apparent during the initial measurement and design. Unless specifically noted on the drawings and specifications, units will NOT have backing. Therefore, drywall will be seen behind installed storage systems.

Construction Materials

If a thermofoil or wood laminate product is ordered you acknowledge that the color/texture/grain/sheen may not be an exact match and that lighting in your space may affect said match.  Our designs utilize the 32mm system which require continuous 5mm holes spaced 32mm apart on all panels, to provide for adjustability and flexibility.  Due to the position of the 5mm drilled holes toward the front of the vertical support panels, provided for the hang rods, hanging garments will project and extend out beyond the leading edge of the support structure, deeper panels are available at additional cost.

Changes to Design

Any request for changes to the design after acceptance must be sent via email to the designer. If there are additional amounts or credits due, you will be notified by email. Your response for agreement to the changes will be reflected in the final pricing and are considered as an addendum to the contract.

Payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due when the order is placed. Final payments must be made prior to or at completion of the installation.  Personal checks and major credit cards are accepted. If a credit card is used, the balance due will be automatically charged at the completion of the project.

Job Site Preparation

Client agrees to remove all personal items from the work area prior to the arrival of the installation crew. TEAR OUT of existing closet materials is NOT included unless specifically stated on the design or pricing. All hard floor surfaces must be installed, and walls need a finish coat of paint prior to installation. I understand if tear out is required on the day of installation, the price will be added to the final billing at a rate of $75.00 per hour plus disposal fee. We will patch but do not paint. Our installation crew are not professional painters and are not responsible for paint ready patching. Client’s pets and/or small children should be kept away from the work area to ensure a safe working environment. We are not responsible for pets leaving the house through open doors.

Agreement Acceptance

The documents mentioned above have been reviewed and approved and conditions are satisfactory and accepted. LB CLASSIC CLOSETS is authorized to perform the work as specified. This proposal may be withdrawn by LB CLASSIC CLOSETS if not accepted within 30 days.

LB Classic Closets Warranty Information

LB CLASSIC CLOSETS products shall be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. LB CLASSIC CLOSETS sole liability and remedy for breach of this limited warranty shall be, at LB CLASSIC CLOSETS  option, to credit or replace defective or nonconforming product.

This Limited Warranty shall be null and void and shall not apply to any LB CLASSIC CLOSETS  product that is damaged as a result of failure due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents and acts of God. 

The Limited Warranty set forth herein is in lieu of all other warranties, product representations, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for use/and or particular purpose. LB CLASSIC CLOSETS shall not under any circumstances be liable for special, indirect punitive or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever, including without limitation, any lost revenues or profits of it's customer.
